After a good run of wins the Presidents team suffered a bad loss to KHOSA by 4 wickets. Batting first we lost Xolani Ngumbela (11) to a good catch and then Hayden Sweet and Keegan van Rensburg followed quickly thereafter and we were 38/3. Josh Paul and Josh Lang pulled the team back with a 43 run partnership before Lang (45) was caught with the score on 81/4 off 24 overs. Paul (16) followed with Conor MacFarlane also not lasting long and were 6 down before we reached three figures. Andile Gladile and Evan Lynch had a small partnership before the worst over for us started. We lost four wickets in one over to capitulate for 109. With such a small total to defend we knew we had to bowl and field well. Perhaps very well. Obakeng Maila got us a wicket in the second over and then Gaurav Sirohi (4/34) struck twice in an over and KHOSA were 27/3. He repeated that later for KHOSA to be 58/5 but then they took the game away from us with a 40 run partnership and we lost by 4 wickets.
