PREMIER CRICKETERS BEAT ALEX BY 7 WICKETS
21 November 2017
Bolstered by former Test players Stephen Cook and Neil Mackenzie, our Premier league team easily beat Alex by 7 wickets. Our bowlers were again on fire as the openers Hutchinson (4/25) and Ross van Buuren (2/40) made early inroads to the batting of Alex and then Jayden Broodryk followed up with 4/33 as Alex were all out for 154. Stephen Cook (50 off 37 balls) and Jaco Delport (28 off 45 balls) put on 67 for the first wicket before Cook was out. After lunch Wesley Landsdale (60*) joined Delport and we soon reached 123 in 20 overs before Neil Mackenzie played a cameo for 17 but was out just before we got the winning runs.

We stay third on the log but made inroads to KHOSA who lost their game. Jeppe won their game to stay top of the log.
